The government rejected the proposal of making changes in the law about “The turnover tax”.

On the 23rd of October during the serial session the Armenian Government discussed and rejected the advice of making some changes in the law, that had been offered by four Armenian deputies. They offered to raise the threshold of the businesses that can work under the turnover tax from 58.3 million drams to 150 million. The government explained its rejection by confirming that it will cause a reduction in Armenian budget by 39 billion drams.

It should be recalled that there were few other offers that have also been rejected. And that the law about “The turnover tax” will enter into force only on the 1st of February in 2015.
