No one can predict the degree of corruption risks for a country in the case of accession to an organization.

The Deputy Minister of Justice of Armenia, Suren Krmoyan, noted the abovementioned at a press conference on Tuesday. He stated this in response to a query on whether the level of corruption of Armenia’s officials will rise once the country joins the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), which also includes Belarus and Kazakhstan. The question referred to the view that the other EEU member states are very corrupt.

Of course it won’t decrease, I would say that it will increase, as the EEU economical system is very vulnerable towards oligarchy in my opinion the main problem of corruption in Armenia is based on the oligarch.
