The Armenian government has decided to initiate a visa-free regime for US citizens beginning from January 1, 2015. The decision was presented today during a cabinet meeting by Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandyan.

According to him, the removal of the entrance visa resulted from Armenian-American Intergovernmental Commission signing paragraph 28 of the Action Plan, which states that “the two parties will finalize the visa facilitation process, establishing visa-free regime for citizens of the United States, and allowing provision of multi-visas to citizens of the Republic of Armenia for the period of ten years.”

Well this is a positive for Armenia, because getting more stronger relations with US, as there are a lot of native Armenians with the US passport and without Armenian one, so now the way back home for them becomes easier.
