Gabriel Sundukyan’s National Academic Theater will be reconstructed. On November 27, during the cabinet meeting, the government made this decision.
The Ministry of Culture and the Austrian Vaagner-Biro are planning to sign a 7 million euro credit contract. The contract will serve for the provision of goods and services that will be obtained in the process of reconstruction of the building.
This reconstruction is the first step of improving the Armenian theater. This may cause financial problems for Armenia though. What if the government turns out to be unable to pay back the credit? It will completely ruin the already unstable Armenian economy.
